Raul Jimenez starts his first Premier League game of the season for Wolverhampton Wanderers against Newcastle United today.
The Mexican netted in the 2-1 win over Preston in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday after recovering from an injury sustained in pre-season. He keeps his place in attack alongside Pedro Neto and Goncalo Guedes. Adama Traore and Hwang Hee-chan drop out to accommodate Neto and Guedes.
Wolves line up in a 4-3-3 formation once more with Matheus Nunes, Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho in midfield. Neves was rested in midweek, but he returns to replace Leander Dendoncker in the XI.
Elsewhere, goalkeeper Jose Sa and Jonny Castro Otto return to the starting XI at the expense of Matija Sarkic and Rayan Ait-Nouri, meaning Nelson Semedo starts in the league for the first time this season too. In total Lage has made five changes from the victory over Preston in midweek.
